Coming Out Over Coffee Makes a Return

After a year-long hiatus, Coming Out Over Coffee is making a return!

This social event is a gathering for the LGBT+ community at local coffee shops. It's an opportunity to enjoy a beverage, and good conversation while drawing the community closer together.

What you may not realize, however, is that Polestar got its start at a Coming Out Over Coffee event back in 2016. Two friends were discussing over a mocha how they wished there was a place locally for the LGBT+ community to find their people and connect with resources. The conversation was so compelling that one of the two friends went home and Googled "how to start a LGBT+ community center". The ball started rolling from that point.

Now we are excited to make a return to our roots. Coming Out Over Coffee events will be held once a week, but will alternate between Tuesdays at 6:30pm at The Brew and Sundays at 12p (noon) at Mundos. To follow which week is where, keep an eye on our event calendar.
