QUEER PROM 2017

Polestar has been working with Traverse area GSAs to present the first ever LGBT+ Prom!  The goal is to give area LGBT+ High School students and their allies the opportunity to dance, socialize, express their true selves, and have fun without fear of hostility or intolerance.  It also provides LGBT+ students the chance to dress based on their preferred gender expression, or bring their same sex dates, without having to navigate a school’s sometimes restrictive and complicated policies.  The Prom is open to all LGBT+ High School Students and their allies attending schools in Northwest Lower Michigan.

The Prom will be held at Hotel Indigo in Traverse City on Saturday, April 29, from 7-11pm.  Tickets are only $5 and purchasing information is available at Polestar's Website.
